I needed a spare part for my Land Rover Freelancer, called CWS and spoke to Peter, very helpful, lots of parts and excellent service.
Where do I begin? At first I was very impressed with the service. I ordered an engine for a freelander and wanted it shipped to Menorca. They gave me a good price for shipping so I went ahead. The engine arrived in around a week and looked good, I say looked good. Then it all went pear shaped! My mechanic fitted the engine only to find the water pump was broken along with other faults. I explained this to them and got a reply, "well it was fine when we started it up". We shall send out another one or you will get a refund, this was last June. Every time I phoned the office I got the same excuse "I have one coming in next week, call me back then". This went on for months. Then the person I was dealing with was always on the sick. So as I was back in England I popped into see the person I was dealing with and guess what.....on the sick! So I spoke to another person in the office who give him his due could see I was a little miffed at being mucked around for the past 6 months did try and sort it but no luck. I finally got a reply to my many emails and was told that if we havent found one by the end of the month (Jan 2016) I Will refund the cost. February goes past, March goes past and now in April being told we have an engine but it's younger than yours. Not much good then. Finally after 10 months of being mucked around I have got my money back.If your in a hurry don't even go there.
