I ordered the Cleo statue and had to wait for her to be made and aged but I couldn't be happier. She's beautiful. Every time I've had a question with my order I've had a quick and clear reply. The delivery man was really pleasant and helpful too. Would definitely order again :)
I cannot believe the negative reviews for this Company. My experience could not have been better. We have just had a new patio fitted and I have always wanted some Lions to finish off the Garden. I found these and they are absolutely lovely!!! Delivered within the first week, totally undamaged, exactly as illustrated and spec'd on the website. The quality is exceptional, very heavy and fit for purpose. I cannot rate the product or the service from Tor Stone highly enough.
Purchases beware!I paid for a 60cm sandstone water feature over the phone (720). "We will be in touch within 10 days to arrange delivery"..... 20 days passed and nothing. Called them and was told not to worry you won't get one anywhere else, and I will get him to call you tomorrow... He didn't!... Phoned again a week later.... "They are on order will be with you first week in October!... NOT... End of October I was abroad on holiday and it was delivered to my neighbours, and left outside. I arrived back home on the 11th November to find it there still at my neighbours, but it measured roughly 40cm!. Phoned Torstone ,(Chris Chant, alias Zoe/Mary). I was not rude but i got a bit angry when he said it was the 60cm... He said I don't like your tone and hung up, and then refused to answer my calls. Thought it was time to get something in writing so set my argument down on an email. Various exchanges took place over email. Adamant it was the 60cm even after I put the tape measure on it and took a photo!!. This Chris Chant signs his emails with various women's names! Anyway the driver was in the area the next evening, and collected it and told me he was delivering it to another customer in the morning. Again emailed them been collected please refund.. Reply was "when it comes back into stock we will'... Mail them back explaining as you are aware it is not coming back..... The reply I got was 'Noted". Blocked my mobile number.My ctedit card company has now refunded me, and is now persuing Torstone.Also noticed they have changed their website to reflect the NEW SMALLER SIZE of The Large Kent Water Feature. Guess there is a lot more people out there with a bad experience of this company.
The large Victorian urn and plinth is five star - excellent. Value for money is two star as I now know the same product is available for much less elsewhere. Installation was an extra cost but two star. Communication was two star - either perfunctory or non-existent. End result - we have a great urn - but unimpressed with cost and service.
