This was a lovely restaurant with delicious curry. The lady was very nice and it felt more like having dinner at a friend's house. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.
I stumbled upon this sweet little cafe down an alley off the High street. I was delighted by the cosy and friendly atmosphere. The thali and masala chai tea were all freshly prepared and delicious.
Cozy, inexpensive and above all, fantastic vegan food! Indian cuisine at its best!
Quite a small restaurant filled with pretty art, nice smells, and friendly people. You sit down and are shown what is available for the day. This is a small restaurant with a sitting area and a kitchen in the back. A lovely lady stays in the back cooking the tasty food. You can see it all happen. The meal was vegetarian, and everything was filled with gorgeous flavour. It wasn't spicy hot or anything like that, but no where near bland. It had so many flavours, making it a complete pleasure for the taste buds. Everyone was very nice, explaining the food and having a chat. Perfect atmosphere. I'd come here time and time again.
What a fantastic treat this place is. A tiny restaurant that feels more like your guests in a lovely woman's kitchen where a warm welcome awaits. You have what you're given but that makes ordering really easy and the service very fast. There's a car park to the rear that's free after 6pm. Just be warned this place is cash only and doesn't have a liquor licence. You're welcome to bring your own alcohol, though.
