We stayed for almost two weeks on this small, very peaceful and well-kept site set in a beautiful orchard. The owners are super helpful. Basic, clean facilities on site; local pub and bus stop are just down the road. Great location to explore the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended.
We rented the three new pods for a single night for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday treat. All family members had a wonderful time, from 4 years to 80 years old! We were extremely comfortable and although we were very unlucky with the weather for mid September (cold and torrential rain) we were toasty warm and dry in the pods. The kitchenettes are well equipped and feel very high spec' and the fridge was spacious - plenty of room for chilling the champagne! We enjoyed the complementary apple juice from the orchard - delicious. The double bed was extremely comfortable, even for my tall, fussy husband (fantastic quality mattress) and the double sofa bed was massive and also very comfy. Steve and Kathy were extremely helpful all the way through from the initial booking inquiry to departure. We would love to come back again in better weather and enjoy the outdoor environment - sadly we did not get to use the decking area and rattan patio furniture.
Lovely small site in an orchard. One shower that is used by male and female. It is entered through a door from both toilets that can be locked once inside. Very clean and well maintained. We visited in our motorhome so didn't go in the glamping pods.
Lovely little site with friendly owner set in an orchard clearing. 2 toilets for each sex and one unisex shower. Very clean and plenty of hot water. 1.20 sufficient for a good shower and long hair wash. Lots of nice country walks with stunning views. Short distance to village for shop and Pub is walkable for adults. Would stay again. Very relaxing.
Great facilities here make for a pleasant and enjoyable place to pitch your tent. Being a working cider orchard is simply a bonus. Friendly and helpful owners will provide plenty of advice on the local area.
