Where to start...My wife booked our stay at The Covenstead and my initial reaction when I saw the photos was "what the hell has she booked"When we arrived at the hotel and we're welcomed by the owner, he showed us around and my opinion of the place completely turned around. This place is truly brilliant, lots of interesting stuff to look at EVERYWHERE you turn and the rooms are big.We stayed on the top floor which also has a kitchen area and lounge where you (or any other guests) can relax and fix yourself a drink or food. Our room was right next to the lounge and we weren't disturbed by any other guests.If you're a fan of something a little quirky / offbeat (and if you're staying in Glastonbury there's a high chance of that) then you absolutely have to stay here. The place feels more like a hotel than a B&B.A welcome surprise and highly recommended!
Having travelled extensively over the years I have stayed in many 5* and first class hotels and residences. This absolute gem in Glastonbury userps them all. First class service, attention to detail and a cornucopia of the mystical made our stay like a home from home. Memory foam king sized bed, Alexa in every room, superb local produce, home cooked breakfast plus many more things that just make the difference, facilitating an attachment whereby you wont want to leave. Beyond Awesome and highly recommended...
I have to say that this hotel has to be one of the nicest i have ever stayed in, rooms are absolutely gorgeous and Tony the owner is such a nice and accommodating person who made me and my whole family feel so welcome. I have never stayed in such a quirky place in my life. If i could give it more than 5 star i would.. it is located in the heart of Glastonbury and easy to find. Breakfast is absolutely gorgeous and a very nice selection to choose from.. thanks Tony from me Anna, Junior and the Van
